Garasi
Percussion Guru, Part-Time
Assistant Band Director, 1994-2001 / 2003 - 2004 Mr. Michael Garasi is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music where he received degrees in Percussion Performance. He has performed with the such orchestras as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, and the new World Symphony. Mr Garasi is currently band director at North Broward Preparatory School. |

Sergio Carreno Percussion Arranger/Instructor 2001-Present Sergio Carreno graduated from JPT in 1999 and went on to pursue a career in music at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. At CMU he will finish his masters degree in percussion performance this year. He has an extensive performance background including a Carnegie Hall tour with the New World Symphony, multiple tours of the United States with the "Heart land of America" Air force Band based out of Omaha, as well as performing in an international percussion festival in Puerto Rico. Sergio has been teaching and contributing to percussion arrangements at JPT for the past five summers. This season he wrote the book for the battery and front ensemble. |

Zach Redler Percussion Arranger 2003 Mr.Zach Redler is a former student of the JPT Percussion Section. This year he will be writing the book for the drumline. In the fall Zach will be attending the Mannhatan School of music. |
